Foodpanda to deliver food packets to those affected by Chennai Flood

Foodpanda has announced that it will deliver 7,000 hygienic and healthy food packets to those affected by the Chennai floods every day. The initiative is in partnership with restaurants located in Hyderabad and Chennai (Bawarchi and Paradise Biryani). The company has partnered with the NGO, GiveAway, to distribute the food packets containing 3.5 tonnes of vegetarian biryani. These packets will be delivered to Amir Mahal Palace where volunteers from Foodpanda and GiveAway will distribute the food to over 15,000 people in Chennai. They have also announced that they are opening a special relief aid called ‘With You Chennai’ where users can help contribute to the effort by donating meals.
